Why people still pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for software that has a free (and legitimate) equivalent -- whose quality and capabilities is/are just as good as the "name brand" stuff (and many times, even better) -- is anyone's guess. Obviously there are a few select exceptions to this question, and if you can think of one then by all means feel free to post a comment. ;)
